In keeping with our client-focused approach, we have developed proprietary methods of structuring negotiations designed to reduce client costs in both time and money, while allowing us to share in the savings. Clients who utilize our fixed-fee structures receive a “chef’s menu” of products and services, with the flexibility to order additional services “a la carte." We believe our fixed fees allow our clients to budget for transactions more accurately.
To ensure we provide the highest level of service at attractive prices, we utilize only corporate lawyers with partner-level experience, thus avoiding the inherent inefficiencies in training and developing younger lawyers. We manage the process for our clients and coordinate with other service providers, enabling clients to budget appropriately for the transaction.
Our fixed-fee solutions are designed for clients who want quality legal advice on an expedited time frame at an attractive fee. To accomplish this, we seek to minimize many of the typical issues that drag out complex corporate transactions in time and cost. We use our intellectual property, knowledge and experience to provide comprehensive documentation at an attractive price. We also utilize milestone payments rather than billing for hourly fees in order to better align our deliverables with our clients' objectives. We believe this provides peace of mind for our clients who will not experience unanticipated costs, as all work not included in a fixed-fee engagement is clearly identified and approved by the client in advance.
At the start of each engagement, we prepare a comprehensive engagement letter that details our services and the milestone payments. In many fixed fee arrangements, Clients can halt a transaction at any time and are only responsible for paying for any milestones that have been achieved.
